Thanks to all for your responces. It's great that it's an active forum, despite the car being out of production for many years. I'm guessing that it's because it's such a unique and enjoyable car! Certainly unique in the UK, where they are as rare as hen's teeth!

I'm now in a dilemna of whether I take a look myself (never having had her up on ramps) or go back to the garage that I tasked with fixing her. I'll try the later option first, as they owe me one - after having told me that everything is fine! If not, it's off to work with the pry bars - which is something I don't do much of these days!
