The SKREEM is powered from pin 3 of the ignition switch, not the RCM. IF you are getting three cranks then nothing, the RCM is powering up the ECU, therefore, the RCM is not the issue. thanks pizzaguy you are the best.

One of the following is your problem:

1) You changed key fobs and forgot to transplant the little black RFID chip to the new fob. (You'd know if it you did.)
2) You messed with the dash and either damaged the black ring around the key or accidentally yanked the wires from the ring to the SKREEM out of the SKREEM. (You'd know it if you did.)
3) Your SKREEM has failed. (OFTEN happens.)
4) Your ECU has failed. (NEVER happens.)
That is the best 4 answers that you can get , Mark you are the best
but when i had that problem i disconnect my batt ,pumped the brake a few times to discharge the system. let my car sit with batt disconnected for about 20 minutes ,fired it up drove home then swapped the rcm,,,no more no start. no problems the only difference i was in My V8 crossfire.
