I had some Switzer exhaust pieces on the shelf, so I decided to fabricate a replacement for the factory muffler.
Dual inlet and dual outlet are 3". I bought on Amazon two double wall SS tips 3" inlet and 4" outlet, Y-pipe 3" and a SS reducer from 3" to 2.25".
The Mercedes original hangers bracket has been taken out of eBay. The welding job has been done at a local custom exhaust shop for $60.
The new muffler will be installed in a few weeks at the same shop.
