It'll probably come back (I know bummer). The batteries in the FOB control the door locks/unlocks & alarm. When the buttons on the FOB are pressed, the lights also 'flash' letting you know the signal reached the car receiver. The module in the trunk triggers the lights when you lock/unlock or alarm. UNLESS your 'Butt Dialing' your FOB, too low of a set of batteries in the FOB shouldn't trigger the lights. Remember, when locked/unlocked or alarm is pressed, your lights will flash.
