I went the puller route for the wiper arms and it sure made things easier. The actual alarm siren was a complete disaster. Still had original batteries but the entire circuit board was burnt black - both sides. I haven’t used the alarm since I purchased the car back in May. (also didn’t check that out before the purchase - shame on me). Taped up the plug-in so it wouldn’t be harmed until I can get the new alarm siren purchased. While I was in there I cleaned all the drain holes. They were clogged with leaves and debris. Running wide open now. Pieced it all back together and took great delight in throwing the burnt up siren in the trash. Parked the car in the garage and locked it with my key fob and no flashers!

Step two is coming soon thanks to GraphiteGhost. I’ll open up the trunk and begin tear down on side panels, rear panel and styrofoam etc… to get to the module on the right side of the car. Got my fingers crossed that it will be nice and dry back there. Only one way to find out.

Thanks again for all the advice. Nice to know you can count on folks to help when it’s needed the most.
Don't forget to remove the "drain plugs" so if water leaks there in the future you won't have any issues.
