THAT way, you have a spare for the NEXT time this happens. That is what I did, not a month ago, when mine failed.

You can PROVE it's the RCM, do this:
Turn key to START, if the car does NOTHING, let the key return to "ON" and wait 45 seconds.
Do you hear the engine cooling fan warp up to high speed? IF so, the RCM is bad - 100% certainty.
If the fan does not warp up to high speed, we have something else at fault.
Good advice! EXACTLY what I did in 2016 when the RCM failed in my 2007 Coupe.
