I am a new member and is new to the crossfire family.

I just bought a Manual 2004 Crossfire with a bad engine. I bought a low mileage engine out of a wrecked Crossfire from a salvage yard.

Both engines are not supercharged. My car came with the factory Manual transmission and the donor car came with an Automatic transmission.

Question: Does the Manual and Automatic Crossfire motors have different crankshafts in them?

My flywheel will not bolt up to the the motor that was automatic.

There is a slight difference in the crankshaft bolt patterns and also slight depth difference on how much the crankshaft protrude out of the back of the engine block.?

Have anyone experienced this? The engine I bought is suppose be a 2004 engine?

Both engines physically look identical and both is outfitted with the identical wire harness.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!! Glad to join the forum.
