There was a changeover in there on crank mounting patterns. Both use 8 bolts, but one has them grouped, kind of like 4+4, and the other has the 8 bolts spread around the whole circle. The 4+4 appeared on later model engines. I imagine there is a later model flywheel you can source that will bolt up to that crankshaft.
