The system works via air pressure/vacuum from a pump located in the right rear of the car. You may have a broken air line if the doors are not locking unlocking with the dash mounted switch. The pump (CLP/SSM) is integrated into the security system. You access the pump by removal of the foam pieces and the felt side pieces below the carpet.

Thanks for the reply. The button inside does indeed work. Which is odd. The button works, and when i press the buttons on the fob, the lights even flash, but just the locks don't work when pressing fob buttons.
