Hi from the Uk

My wife owns a 2006 Roadster automatic and has been having starting problems. When she turns on ignition no clicking or turning over of starter motor but the fan comes on. We fitted a new heavy duty battery. Also near the battery the area is getting soaking wet after rain

Any advice will be very much appreciated
