I just purchased a 2005 Crossfire Roadster Limited with 28K miles on it. I got a great deal ($23K) and I have never been so happy with a car. I live in Los Angeles and there are allot of nice cars where I live (West Los Angeles). It seems every other car is a Mercedes SL500. But I still get plenty of looks at my Black Roaster because nobody else has one. Anyways I am getting off track here. I decided to look into an extended warranty and found that my local Dealership wanted $2,350 for the 7/70 Bumper to Bumper and on top of that wanted the money up front. Well I decided to do a little checking and found a dealership on line that sold me the same exact warranty for $1,470 and let me make 12 payments on it. They also offer 3 years worth of oil changes for $210 (up to 15 oils changes during the 3 years).

I am not usually big on buying Extended Warranties but everything I have read on the Crossfire and all the electrical involved with the Roadster I figured I am better off spending the money now for piece of mind. The reason I am telling you all this is to let you know that there is an option to walking into your local dealer and paying there retail price for the Chrysler Factory Warranty. I will finish by saying I never thought a car that cost under $70K could have this much of an effect on me and I can not think of a car that is under $50K that I would want in place of my Roadster right now. I guess you can say I am a very happy new Crossfire owner.
