Default Re: Baseline Dyno Run Results

Woody,
Let me go into detail on the two runs that I did...the first run with no mods to the sensors done, I pressed the traction control button off, and I started to drive. The esp light kept on flashing. Then, the rpms cut at 4,200 rpms. The dyno was saying about 175 rwtq. The second time around, we disconnected the rear wheel sensors, and I attempt the run once again. This time, the esp light did not flash at all. BUT, the vehicle was still limited to 4,200 rpm, but we gained about 20 more lb/ft of torque on the dyno, meaning the sensors were engaging the brakes to restrict power output on the first run. On Friday we will be attempting another run. Here's my theory...the car, when rolling at a speed of greater than 10 mph, can be revved to 6,100 rpm without restrictions. So, on Friday we will have the front tires in the air, two people will spin the tires to go over 10 mph, and then we will attempt another dyno run, hopefully disengaging the limiter. Everyone cross their fingers for this to work.
