Hello, I'm doing a head gasket job in my 2004 base model crossfire. It's got a little over 200k and as far as I can tell the head gasket has gone out without causing any further damage. I've looked all over the internet and haven't seen anyone else do this job, and I've been wondering if anyone else on this forum has. If you have I'd like to know, as I have some questions. Also, I know that everyone says it's cheaper to just throw a lower mileage used engine in rather than replace the head gasket. But I can't afford to buy an engine and engine hoists, I can afford the gaskets and specialty tools needed for the job.
