AS to the tire sensor; It will not shut your car down. Search TPMS Tire Pressure Monitor System in the search box upper right corner (use the google option by clicking the word thread) or see the index of Crossfire repairs in The TSB and Trouble Shooting topic for more info. There are some members who can program a new sensor to work with the car. I would trust them more than any dealer.
