The MB guy replaces the seal alone, the xfire guy just tightens the cover bolts & decides to put off replacement. Im having a helluva time finding both. Someone at fcp euro suggested a dealership might have it. If ive learned anything here its eff the dealerships. My question is would the cover & seal from a 2003 SLK fit my 2005 xfire? The fcp guy said if its not labeled crossfire compatible its not a confirmed fit. But they definitely have them. Thanks in advance for any replies,hints, secret passwords, experiences that anyone shares.
