First symptoms: Starting, dying immediately, I start it again, dies, repeat 2-3 times. Then it drove fine for a couple months with no issues.
Second symptom: it started and died, started and died again, then would not crank at all. All accessory power came on. I disconnected and reconnected the battery, it started right up. Fine for another month.
Third time: it died about 1 mile from home while driving. I could not get it to start again and got it towed home. When I turn on accessory after this happens, the radiator fan kicks on and runs, if that means anything.

I've replaced the CPS years ago with similar symptoms so that was my first thought. Tried that and nothing. I pulled out the RCM, which I've already had re-soldered by the guy who fixes them on here, cant recall his name. It looked okay to me.
I plugged in my ODBII reader to check for codes and got nothing. Messed around a little more and it started up, died 30 seconds later.
Wouldn't start for about 5 mins, still checking for codes and testing random things. Tried it again and it started fine, drove it around the block. Turned it on and off 4 more times with no problems.

Any ideas what I should test for or try next? I'm afraid to drive it anywhere far.

Thanks so much!!
If the radiator fan kicks on at high speed when in accessory position that is surely the RCM so you should get it repaired again or buy a new one.

It is possible you have an intermittent skreem issue but I would change the CPS again and make sure it is a Bosch one since skreem does not cause the car to randomly die when running.
