I'll try to explain again. The charger would not work until I disconnected the ground on the battery. Volt meter reads 12.47 for charge. After messing around with the cables, which are like new and the battery is a year old, I got my wife to turn on the ignition while the alarm was sounding. Lights came on in the dash and interior light turned on also. Alarm stopped so I had her leave the ignition on and I tried to start the car. No luck and no cranking. BTW I had the RCM rebuilt last year and it's been working perfectly.
