plugs1 ~~ So your battery was dead and the car wouldn't start and now it seems it won't crank the engine.
1. DID you clean the cable leads as in post #3 ?
2. I would suspect you have a bad battery. You may be able to take it to an auto parts store and see if they can test it.

IF you get through all that and the car still will not crank come back here and we can proceed.
