I'm going to look at a 2004 cry crossfire. The guy is asking 7400.00. I've read that that year is worth between $4500-6000. The man said he repaired the cat converter and that there are no recalls. I read that the airbags could deploy with no notice, which have pieces of metal. Ck eng light comes on for no reason and there may be starting problems. Anyone have or have had these problems?
If your interested, take it to a local European Mercedes Benz mechanic that knows MB SLK-320's @ 2004 model year. Also, spend a couple bucks for a carfax or autocheck, might be well worth it. While that mechanic is looking it over ask him/her to also look for body/flood damage. After that whatever is found can be used to negotiate the final price of the car if your still interested.
