NO NO NO...do not rub harder as that will scratch your paint. Clay should be glided across the surface of the vehicle. Moreover, rubbing just a little bit harder with the Mother's clay is worthless. Get better clay to make your clay barring tasks more efficient. Mother's clay is not aggressive enough to pull much off of the surface. Get a more aggressive form of clay, like Elasti-clay or Clay magic. Don't forget to use generous amounts of lube!
