I’ve ordered a transmission service kit, I’m just wondering what fluid I can safely use since apparently there are all these MB revisions on fluid. Am I looking for 236.10? Can someone point me in the right direction I’m doing a complete flush so I think I need around 9 quarts. Id like to be budget minded here if possible and something found commonly.
The original spec fluid is NLA. You can get the updated genuine Chrysler or MB fluid which is expensive. The easiest option is Shell ATF 134 or Pentosin ATF 134 which comes in a 1 or 5 liter bottle (Rockauto).
