Thank you. I replaced the RCM last month after being stranded. I also had my RCM repaired by Forum member as spare.
I just tried cleaning ignition inside with some aerosol Dry Lube from Lowes ($6). I sprayed it in and let it sit. I then inserted the key and worked it 6-7 times… and repeated. It may be fixed? The dash data now goes off 45 sec after removing key. Before it stayed on forever. I will go through it again and see what happens. I am optimistic!
