New Year's day I spent in the garage changing all 4 brake lines.
I used a few tips I learned from here as well as the Mercedes guy on youtube.
Invest $7.00 and get a set of vinyl vacuum line caps. Here's a few pics that I posted on the fakebook site:


I used the large cap to push the hose through the grommet on the front brake. It kept dirt from getting in the hose.


I put a vicegrip on the hose a few inches down from the upper connection to clamp it shut. Cutting the hose lets you remove it from the caliper and you can pull the other end through the grommet easily.
