SRT-6 COLOR OPTIONS

"YOU CAN HAVE ANY COLOUR, AS LONG AS IT'S..."

When the Chrylser Crossfire SRT-6 first was launched it was only available in Aero Blue, Black, Graphite Metallic, Sapphire Silver Blue. Later, first in 2006 the color Machine Gray was introduced. See pictures in the column to the right for samples. Have you seen Crossfires in any other color? That is because the Chrysler Crossfire NA version was available in more colors such as Alabaster White, Bright Silver, Classic Yellow, Blaze or Inferno Red*, and Oyster Gold. Inferno Red and Blaze Red are said to be the same color with paint code PRH, 591. All 2004 red Chrylser Crossfire NA were sold with Blaze Red Crystal Clearcoat. In 2006 the color was "changed" to "Inferno Red Crystal Clearcoat. See pictures in the right column for samples of colors. For more information about available exterior and interior color combinations from factory, see the color chart "exterior colors" from Chrysler in the column to the right. Note: one color is missing in that leaflet. Can you guess which one? Correct, Graphite Metallic. My best guess is, as the data from Chrysler is from 2006, that the color simply had been discontinued. However, it is worth to mention that there are re-painted SRT-6 out there. For example, The Albino SRT-6 and "SMEXY" are Alabaster White and the Black Series SRT-6 is re-painted in Copper. Several other aftermarket colors have been seen as plasti-dipping is getting popular. This method is only recommended as a short term solution or for protecting the paint underneath. See photos of colorful SRT-6 in the SRT-6 Paint Job Gallery.

EXTERIOR PAINT CODES

To be sure you get the correct color, give out your VIN so they can double check the paint code. Beware: paint codes are different from each color manufacturer and can have different shades. So if you are re-painting, then try to look at samples and/or use their color sample gun on your vehicle as it sits today. For more paint codes information from MOPAR, Sherwin Williams, Paintscratch.com and Automotive Touch Up see details in the column to the right.

WHEEL PAINT CODES

The wheel paint codes are also important if you are in need of some touch up or full restoration. The paint codes are as follows:
  • Chrylser Crossfire NA wheels: PAK, XZA aka Satin silver, 9969
Note: Chrysler OEM paint touch up brush #05179660AA
  • Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6 wheels are cast aluminum. They are not painted, just sprayed with clear coat laquer spraypaint.
  • Chrysler Crossfire Special Edition (SE) wheels are the same as the SRT-6 except from having the insides and 5 grooves on the center cap painted dark gray. This color is unknown. DO YOU KNOW THIS?

WINDSHIELD, INTERIOR AND OTHER TRIM PAINT CODES
  • Windshield surroundings, handles, side strakes and other trim have the same paint code as the Crossfire NA wheels Satin Silver XZA which translates into Mercedes Benz color code 9969.
  • Interior A-pillar paint code: DO YOU KNOW THIS?
  • Interior dash silver trim paint code: DO YOU KNOW THIS?
