I did a year in Korea, 1966 and part of 1967, when there was pretty much a war still raging there. Then went straight to Viet Nam for a couple of years flying choppers. Those were simultaneously the most fun and the most scary years of my life. I ended up staying with the Army for twenty, hiding out from a mean, nasty, totally ungrateful nation. I do about half of my own work, and pay for the other half. Crawling under cars and reaching tight spaces is a bit more difficult these days.
I would love to see a 2024 Crossfire if it had continued to evolve. What a beast it could be with modern technology!
