Long span since the 2009 postings, but the aircraft foam hood liners are still apparently available from DHC (Duque Hoodliner Productions) with options for decals:

Price has risen to $105. Suggested install is to remove and invert hood, attach with 3M#80 spray adhesive and hood clips. Hoodliner is precut for perimeter and clip holes.
My 2005 SRT6 Roadster hood liner has dried, shrunk, and is now touching the top of the engine, leaving black smudges.
This replacement looks good, will entail a bit more effort than the original.
My question is whether anyone here has any experience or opinions on this item, method, or the supplier?
