Default Safe to Tow a Short Distance with Driveshaft on?

I moved away to Hawaii and returned to Wisconsin to find dad had ripped out all the interior to do a hack job stereo install (which I'm reverting to stock). He also claims to have left the top down while it rained and decided to pull out the carpet and insisted he threw it in the trash.

Fast forward 10 years, the car still sits where it was left with only 48k miles; completely pulled apart inside. I spent a lot of time locating replacement carpet. However, one day I found it hidden on the top of a tall storage shelf and now I am going to put the car back together.

However, some years ago I found that it no longer has fuel pressure but will start briefly if I dump gas down the TB. It also smells like mouse **** everywhere. Mice pee'd on the circuit board that contains the fuel pump relay and I resoldered the corroded solder joints and same issue exists.

The main concern right now is to pull it out of the dark, dirt floor shed so that I can actually work on it and see what I'm doing. It's a 6-speed manual. Would it be safe to tow it about 300 yards in neutral or would it cause damage without removing the driveshaft?
