Default Automatic Transmission Adapter Plug

I changed the trans fluid and filter and the adapter plug about a month ago. The other day when I was pulling the car out I noticed some trans fluid. I put the car up on the lift and noticed the area were the adapter plug is is wet with fluid. I looked around and did not see any fluid around the gasket area. I re-torqued the pan bolts. I removed the adapter plug and fluid came out which I caught in a pan. The gaskets look good and it seemed it was seated right. I cleaned the area up and put the adapter in and button everything up. Add fluid back into the trans and took the car for a run to get the fluid up to temp and rechecked the fluid level. everything was fine. I did not see any fluid leaking. The next day I came out and there was fluid.

I have ordered another adapter plug. Does anyone have any idea of what I have done wrong? Or have something I have over looked? There are no old gaskets, as when I took out the old one they were on the adapter plug.

Thanks
