Default Re: Automatic Transmission Adapter Plug

I removed the adapter plug and fluid came out which I caught in a pan. The gaskets look good and it seemed it was seated right. I cleaned the area up and put the adapter in and button everything up. Add fluid back into the trans and took the car for a run to get the fluid up to temp and rechecked the fluid level. everything was fine. I did not see any fluid leaking. The next day I came out and there was fluid.

I have ordered another adapter plug. Does anyone have any idea of what I have done wrong? Or have something I have over looked? There are no old gaskets, as when I took out the old one they were on the adapter plug.

Thanks
Those transmission connectors are super super annoying. That happens to me every time I have had transmission service done if the connector was replaced. You will have to replace the connector again, it is best to buy one from a local Mercedes dealership since the list price is about 16.50. In the future it might be best to leave the previous connector alone if it is not leaking when doing transmission service.
