I had the same problem of the holes looking fuzzy, and I had heard of the lint removers. So I got one from Amazon.
It takes a minute amount of the fuzzy surface, it takes little pressure so do not force it down.
It does an amazing job, the surface looks like new.
Here is a photo of it. Mine is actually green.It is amazing how little it removes, just a small pinch after just doing both seats
It is called an ‘Allisable Fabric Shaver’ it works great, about $20 in the US. There is lot to pick from. I avoided battery or rechargeable ones for convenience.Plug and play with no worries about the state of the batteries.
