An Update to my "good news/Bad news" post above.
Today I went under the car and noticed oil coming from the belly pan. Then I remembered, when I did the valve cover and breather gaskets some oil went down into the belly pan. I forgot to clean it out.
I'm hoping that this was just being blown back towards the transmission. I've had the car at high speeds a few times and some quick launches.
I decided to clean everything, oil pan, transmission, belly pan, etc... I took off the inspection cover and it looks dry in there.
Now it will be a wait and see. Fingers crossed!

This is why I think the oil was blowing back on the transmission.

There wasn't a ton of oil in there. It probably accumulated from the leaking valve covers and when I replaced the gaskets.

It looks like the oil was sprayed onto the transmission.

All dry inside.

No oil on the inspection cover.
