This forum is helpful, just came back from a 130 mile ride up the Illinois Great River Rd…with the top down on a 80 degree day.
Every light should be off when the switch is straight up. If you have fog lights, I believe it should be pushed in to be off. The eye lids both come on when you turn the switch one click to the right of center, or when you turn it to the left of center there are 2 dashes. One lights up just the driver side eyelid and rear light, the other lights up just the passenger side eyelid and rear light. This is required when parking on the street in Europe.
If you were driving with the lights on, when you turn off the ignition and pull the key out and leave the car, the lights will stay on for about 30 seconds then shut off automatically.
