The mechanic tried various Mercedes SLK320 versions, he also tried using the VIN. He was questioning if his code reader linked to his phone was even working.
Disconnecting the batt resets all the computers in the car ,but only after you discharge all the backups,,,by pumping the brake or opening and closing the door 4 or 5 times
