This last week, I prepped my 08 MG coupe for paint and body work. Car is straight and rust-free, but the paint is sunbaked (TX/OK car). To get the quality work I am after, all bolt on trim pieces, head lamps, tail lamps, bumpers , side skirts, handles, mirrors, etc have to come off. After conferring with the body shop, rubber pieces around the windows can stay, and there are tricks for them to deal with that. Anyway, here is how is looked yesterday afternoon when the shop came and picked the car up:





For this portion of the work, it will be a little less about what I have done to my Crossfire today, so much as what the shop has done!
