Finally got around to cleaning up all the rust under the driver side door in that weatherstrip channel. Interesting that the passenger side is just fine. Used a Dremel with a small grinding bit and small wire brushes to get down to bare metal even though it probably wasn’t necessary but hopefully this is a one and done job. Was pleased to see that the Rust Bullet grey metallic paint blended in so well with the sapphire blue. Only mistake I made was being too lazy to grab a pair of gloves as painting upside down the paint ran down the brush onto my hand… this is absolutely nasty stuff to try and get off. Soap? Nope. Gasoline? Nope. Last resort acetone? Nope. Long story short, wear gloves.
