Took time between showers & T-storms today to load some parts & tooling in the trunk for the trip to Eureka Springs this coming weekend. Much to my dismay, I found some water accumulation in the PS trunk cavity when I pulled up the trunk mats. Never saw this before with my 2007 Coupe. But it has been pouring down rain here off & on for the past couple of days and forecasted to continue thru THU this week. Didn't see a path the water took to accumulate in the trunk, but will keep monitoring this the remainder of the week to see if I can pinpoint the pathway.
Just be sure you have NO water in the bottom passenger side trunk well where your PSE module is because if it has gotten wet or even submerged in water you will likely need to replace it.
When the PSE module is damaged by water your power locks fail and on Roadsters the top will no longer operate.
You will also have a battery discharge created by a damaged PSE module.
