I was not in the mood for a replacement but I'm taking into account your advices.
The problem is to find a cost-effective provider of such a top in Europe. The shipping cost and custom taxes would be prohibitive to deliver it in France.

Ez-On (if this is this web site: https://www.ezsofttops.com/c-36-chrysler.aspx) doesn't show any Crossfire model anymore.

So I will probably make the "easy" repair with the glue, and in the meantime find a reliable solution here in Europe.

I was also thinking of another (probably risky) solution: gingerly drill 6 or 8 holes both in the canvas and the window to secure the whole stuff in addition to the glue. Bad idea ?
