Your relay control module (RCM) was previously modified for some reason. The new replacement is not. You should just plug the 5 plugs into the new RCM (which would remove the added relay bypass that was installed in the old one). Seems your not the first owner who bypassed the component inside the RCM? IF your trouble was the RCM, the new RCM should correct it. Hope this helped.

I've never seen an RCM part number like the one on your replacement. Are you sure it is for an SLK-320 equivalent? Good luck!
