my house has about 75 spots of cracked and chipped vinyl.
well, it was a bit more than 15 dings. My poor Crossfire endured more than 60.

……..the Geico adjuster, flown in from Colorado earlier in the morning, spent upwards of an hour with the inspection before looking me in the eye and saying, “I’m sorry but we are declaring it a total loss.

here are the figures Geico used for my 2004 Crossfire (57K, automatic, very good condition, with no issues)

$9,561 Current value with 3 pages of items, including little thing like tire thread depth

$1,000. Less my Policy deductable

$1,050 Less what a salvage yard will pay for it in current condition

$7,511 The check I will be getting later this week

i keep the car and get a new title stating something like “hail damage”. its a rotten thing to happen but I think the Process was fair.
