While you may not be getting any codes out of the on-board diagnostic port, the piece of paper that the inspector has given you that tells you the car has failed the inspection will have the reason for the failure listed on it. That is the piece of information that the helpful forum members are looking for. They need to know why it failed, before they can help you. If you cannot determine the reason, take a picture of the failure report and post it.
