I am getting a P0500 code NO VEHCLE SPEED SIGNAL (CAB CAN MESSAGE) with ABS+BAS/ESP dummy lites, spoiler deploy on startup and no cruise control. The Innova can't read the codes in the Controller Antilock Brake (CAB). So I'm not sure what sensor is faulty. Is there a reasonably priced code reader that might do this?
I'm willing to spend for a good quality scanner if it will help me repair my Crossfire.
I don't have it yet, I'm getting it as a birthday gift, but I hear the CRP123 is a good scanner for our cars. It's about $100.00 on Amazon.
I think you might have to enter it as a 2003 Mercedes-Benz SLK 320 for it to recognize the car.
