There's a reason that fuse blew. It could just be age, or it was something electrical. I would go straight to an auto parts store and get a few new ones or buy a whole set in case age is the cause.
I believe they are ATC type fuses, but check with the parts guy. I wouldn't push the piggy back to hard.

What you should really do is use a volt meter and see if there is a draw on that circuit. Search the forum technical section, pizza guy did an awesome write up on how to check for a draw.
