I vaguely remember someone posting instructions here or on MBWorld of running a "metal" strap/brace around the frame and engine. Would love to see a DIY what to buy and how to install it. The people who did it swore by it and it meant you would never have to purchase another motor mount. I think no matter how you drive in these cars, the motor mounts do not last long and even shorter lifespan in an SRT6.

I haven’t seen anything about that but I found a fairly good video on YouTube by ND_72 who did it on his SLK32
i have the bottom bolts out and the engine jacked up by the pan currently. The special tool to reach the top bolts came in the mail today so hopefully it isn’t too much of a PIA to do the rest. 🤷♂️ time will tell
