A lot of people come up to me to compliment the Crossfire too. Unfortunately when I was in graduate school (2 cars ago), someone came up to me at a party and said is that your car outside that looks like xyz? I thought they were going to compliment me on it but actually they were asking b/c they had crashed into it. So now that's my conditioned/default reaction - fear - when someone asks about the car.

Once that's cleared up I enjoy the compliment as I know all of you do. Today in fact someone at CVS came and asked if that was my car. I also notice when stopped at crosswalks (a daily occurrence in DC), people staring at it as they go by and you can read their lips saying "nice car." There are a lot of nice cars on the road but certain ones like the BMWs it seems like every 3rd or 4th person has, so people don't give them a second glance. It is nice to have something unique.
