It's been a while, but I love that this place exists so much. A SHORT UPDATE. (usual response around here when short is used in any sentence is "what'd you call me?" Can't have everything, genetics wise I suppose, when we're all so damned brilliant AND goodlookin', ammirite? *shrug* And kickass sense of humor, to boot! A Hat trick, by any account. ) Anyways, it took no time at all before I said hell with it and rigged up some temporary shade and ripped the dang interior out and yanked my stock subs, found dust where my surrounds used to be, showed hubs and announced my intention to buy shiny new NOT Kickers as I really wanted but couldn't resist the "manufacturer refurbished" 300 watt SKAR 6.5" subs that had the freq range I wanted at nearly half retail and they were literally pristine retail returns. Prolly didn't pass the sniff test for some audio snob (I say lovingly because duh. It has to sound good) and within 3 days were on my porch lookin' sexy af. I knew measurements should've been done but didn't care. I'd cross the bridge when I got to it. Complications are how we roll! So, long story short, that hole in the sound profile is filled to my satisfaction and I only had to make adjustments and pull the interior like 83 times.

Worth every fbomb. And the bonus words too.
