Default Re: esp-bas code 1330 Wackamole

I checked the resistance at the C2 BAS Brake Booster as per 5-303 #8 and got 438 ohms between ground ( I used the mounting screw for the fan control module) and the solenoid valve control circuit. It seems the service manual has an error in that final step.

I also checked for voltage on the 5 volt supply with the CAB connected and ignition on and got no voltage or just a very small voltage way down in the mili volt range.

I think my BAS/ESP control system is okay as I have no warning light and no DTC codes.

I ran through the entire test sequence and it all checked okay. There is no resistance when measured between ground and the actual pins on the valve itself nor is there continuity between the two pins.

Hope that will help you. Good Luck.
