Default Re: 722.6 SRT6 W5A330 Trans Valve Body Casting I.D. #

Thanks for the information relating to the Sonnax kits, if I decide to go to the blue top solenoids, then I will contact you relating to the TCU tune.

I had the oil from the transmission analyzed by Blackstone labs and it came back with no excessive metal particles and normal for the miles on the car which is good news.

I tried flushing the transmission by draining the oil from the pan, refilled to correct levels and drove for about one hour. I did this a total of three times and the up-shifting 2-3 was better, but still exists. I took apart the valve body and found burnt (Dark) transmission fluid. I was in process of installing the Trans-go 722.6A kit which should address the Up-Shift issue, when I found the 1-2 & 4-5 Overlap valve stuck in the lower valve body and would not move, I separated the upper and lower valve body's and currently soaking the lower valve body in trans fluid to try and un-stuck the valve. Attached is a diagram from the Trans-go Kit of the valve that is stuck.

When removing the plate separating the upper and lower valve body's, I found dark transmission fluid and some of the the small components looked like they were burnt. There is a diagram in the CF service manual of how to reinstall the various springs and components. I have been looking for a rebuild kit for the lower valve body that would include the springs and components, but so far no luck.

I checked Amazon and EBAY for a rebuild kit for the valve body that would include the various springs and other components, but could not find any.

If anyone knows of a rebuild kit for the 722.6 Valve Body, please let me know.

Thank you,
