The planets are not aligned, they are simply visible together right now. Were they "aligned", you'd see Jupiter and nothing else, as all the distand planets would be behind Jupiter with Mars in the forground, This is assuming Earth is part of the alignment. THis is to say that is ALL planets were in a line, you could not see more than Jupiter, Mars in one sky and Venus 12 hours later/earlier.[/QUOTE]
