Can you tell if the sound is coming from the rear where the exhaust tips are?
Maybe you can have someone stand outside of the car and listen to where the sound is coming from. If it's near the front or middle I would guess it's a leak.
If it's coming out of the exhaust, I would say maybe fouled plugs.
Just my opinion.
When standing outside and listening it definitely comes from the rear (out of the exhaust or from the area of the exhaust).
Someone said it was normal in SRT-6s...I don't think I ever heard it before but also never stood near the back when someone gave it a burst in idle.
Thing with the spark plugs is that I would imagine it does it all the time, for example when coming to a Still-Stand at a red light but it doesn't seem to do it under load.
Probably doesn't hurt to replace spark plugs and coil packs anyways.
Is there a good way to test for exhaust leaks? And is there any patches for it or does it need to be professionally welded?
Thanks for all the info
