My "Fun" Car
Hello! I have not yet introduced myself here although I bought my Crossfire last July.
I was driving past a small local used car lot when I saw her - a 2005 Limited Roadster in Alabaster White! I'm not even sure I remember the Crossfire when it came out, but at that moment I decided that she needed to be my fun retirement car. When I discovered that she was a six-speed manual I was even more excited, so I raced to the bank and bought her! There was only one key, and I was about to leave on a vacation so I sent me key off to have another made. I enjoyed driving her for the end of the summer season and into fall then put her to bed in the garage for the winter.
I'm getting ready to send my RCM off to be strengthened (and buy an extra) so my husband started it up for me today - no issues starting!
(I would have done this myself but I broke my kneecap, had surgery, and cannot bend my leg much less get in a Crossfire!)
I have decided that I am going to take her to a few car shows this summer in between camping in our vintage trailers, and make my way over to the Dream Cruise to meet as many other Crossfire lovers as I can.
Hope to meet many of you in August~ I'll be the one with windswept hair and a giant smile!
